Perversely I wasn't looking to join back in 2011 but another visitor attended at the same time as myself, who had been a BNI member for years and it was his enthusiasm for joining that made me think that this would be a good idea. I was offered the seat and haven't looked back. When I visited Sterling it had the same "vibe" as my original chapter in Bedford so applied straight away. Just goes to show that business networking IS all about the people in the room although the work comes from their extended contacts. 

 

All of my work comes from recommendations either from current clients, referral partners or business networking. BNI has consistently delivered referrals and it has enabled me to build up solid working partnerships with other BNI members. BNI alone represents a significant slice of my business turnover. 

Definitely would like a photographer to join us as I recommend to all of my clients that professional visuals enhance a website. Having that expertise in the room would make it easy to refer work.
